Literature & Genre Interactive Notebook Resource

This resource includes two ELA interactive notebook foldable templates. The first interactive template identifies the distinguishing characteristics of fiction and nonfiction text. The second identifies the distinguishing characteristics of fiction and nonfiction genres. I love using these templates at the beginning of the year! Since these foldable templates require only primary straight cuts, it is easy for the students to follow along as I give directions. Once we've completed taking notes, I invite the students to decorate their templates if we have time.
