Product Description
Worksheets and discussion guides built as supplements for literature discussion groups and the reading workshop model. Includes pages on Character Traits, Summary Organizer (Someone, Wanted, But, So, Then), Response Cues for Fiction, and Response Cues for Nonfiction Text.

I've used the Response Cues in 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade. They worked particularly well when students were given a choice in which cues to address. This really helped to differentiate the conversations in the literature discussion groups and help push new ideas into the groups. Obviously you'll want to share out your expectations prior to implementation.
