Rotation of responsibilities for Lit groups
Go through each job responsibility 1 book at a time choose books that will only take one week at a time
Explain each job. This set up will take 8-9 weeks.
If you want this set up to be shorter pick books that will take half a week and there are a few jobs that may take a shorter amount of time to present such as helper and discussion director.
After set up you start the rotations of jobs. After each book there will be a week space in between each book. 1st day is a work day to finish their tasks. 2nd day is discussion day. 3rd day is nonfiction text reading and discussing. 4th day is answering written questions about nonfiction text. 5th day is a game day to unwind and apply a skill.
Even though it is a repetitive rotation it changes with the job they will be doing per book and If you have a solid 27 weeks to work with after your set up of jobs with no interruptions you may use 2 weeks per book with one week in the middle of each book would equal out to 27 weeks. If you did the 8 week set up that would give you one week of loss, just in case other things occurred.
