Valentine's Day Deal!
Incorporate active learning into your instruction with these ten Literature Review Trashketball Games! Students review numerous literature elements (character, setting, plot, figurative language, sound devices, theme, etc.) to meet Common Core Standards.
This bundle includes power point literature games that will help you differentiate instruction. They include the following classic novels and plays: Animal Farm, Lord of the Flies, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Frankenstein, of Mice and Men, To Kill a Mockingbird, A Raisin In the Sun, Tuck Everlasting, The Giver, and The Great Gatsby. Additionally, the game questions may be edited for the needs of your classes.
All that you will need is the ability to project a power point presentation, a ball (soft texture), some dark tape, and a trash can. Complete these after reading each novel or play and use them for review before tests and quizzes, or as their own assessment.
Research shows that students often learn best when they can move, and this game motivates them with their love of sports. When you put your students in heterogeneous groups for a game with friendly competition, it is an excellent way to meet the needs of all of your students and reward them for their success. In fact, these games are a useful way to involve your special education students and English Language Learners.
The games make great reward activities, too. You may even see students eagerly come to class and hear them request Trashketball game practice!
By purchasing them in this bundle, you will receive over a 35% savings; however, if you would prefer, all of the games are available individually in my store (there are also smaller bundles available):
