Product Description
This test is part of my Slave Literature Flipped Lesson Bundle. It includes quotations from Equiano, Douglass, Jacobs, and Truth, taken from the readings completed within the bundle.

The skills assessed are elements of a SOAPSTone and DIDLS, which are taught and reinforced through the video vocabulary lessons and the annotated readings.

The test asks students to analyze the quotations by identifying the author's purpose and the figurative/stylistic techniques that authors use to establish that purpose. It's like a mini-rhetorical analysis of small quotations from the slave literature unit.
