PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

With so many novels coming out as movies, students are starting to read more! Students often find they like the novel more because producers just can't pack everything into the movie.

This project forces students to take a deeper look in to the film version of a novel (after completing the novel). Students will study cinematic terms and effects in a "close reading" style.

This project would be PERFECT for any ELA class even though I have used it in my Literature through Film elective.

This could easily be adapted to be an Independent Reading Project.

Included: project description, novel/ film recommendation link, requirements/ rubric, and a reading log and note sheet
