This resource can be used with any work of literature at many levels. It allows students to use multimedia equipment to create a film version of their novel. Students will (unknowingly!) analyze characters, themes, plots, settings, and other literary devices while crafting a 'movie' version of their own. This includes a rubric and example project, both which can be customized. Instructions and examples are in a Word document, but I am happy to send you the powerpoint or PDF upon purchase! My ninth graders completed this project for Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet," saying this was their favorite assignment from my class this year!
