This is an assessment of specific reading standards in literature. It assesses topics such as characters, theme, and point of view. It was written using Illinois State Standards for K-5, and I used the 4th grade interpretation. This is designed to ultimately be used as progress monitoring for IEP goals/objectives, and written at that level. Can easily be tweaked for older/younger kids. It is not textually specific, so it can be used for any literary piece. Specific standards are listed, and at the end questions are matched to the standards for you, so you don't have to match them up yourself.
