Story Comprehension (28 cards): Cut apart and mix up cards. After reading the story, have students answer questions.
Let’s Go To The… (Farm vs. Zoo Sorting Mats): Students sort animal pictures into the correct mat depending on which location you would see them.
Time To Rhyme (worksheet): Cut and paste activity. Students match rhyming pictures.
Big vs. Little (worksheet): Students circle all the pictures of things that are BIG and draw a square around all the things that are LITTLE.
Traffic Jam Line Up (worksheet): Students practice ordinal numbers and following directions by coloring the vehicles according to their position in the traffic jam.
Word Association Trucks (15 pairs): Cut apart and mix up cards. Each truck pair features a set of association pictures. Have students find the matches and explain why they go together.
Animal Sounds BINGO: (6 mats and teacher cards): Students play Bingo while practicing recognition of common animal sounds (and some uncommon ones!)
Roll-A-Dice Articulation (4 worksheets): Students practice words targeting sound blends TR-, FR-, BL-, GL-. Directions: Roll 2 dice. One dice tells the student which column to look at. The other dice tells them how many pictures to count down. When they’ve said the word correctly, they can color the picture and roll again until all the pictures are colored in.
Little Blue Truck Vocabulary (worksheet): Students match vocabulary words from the story to pictures.
Story Retell and Sequencing Activity (12 cards): Cut apart and mix up story sequencing cards on pages 31-32. After reading the story, students sequence the cards into the scenery background pages in order from beginning to end following the numbers from 1 to 11. Can also be used to practice story retell.
Cut & Paste Venn Diagram (worksheet): Students compare/contrast animals that live on land and animals that live in water.
Dot-A-Sheep Articulation (worksheet): Students can color or glue a white pom-pom to the sheep each time they practice their target sounds or word.
Speech Therapy Update Form: Fill out this form after therapy and send home with student. This form lets the parents know you have seen their child today and what you worked on. There is also space to assign weekly homework. Parents love this!
