You may know Vithy, but how well do you know the other characters in the text? Now's your chance to choose one and get to know them better! A creative writing task which guides students step by step to creating a description of a character they know well (or certainly will at the end of it!)
- This task can take up to a week in class when students strongly focus on their creative writing abilities and work through the drafting process.

2. Characterisation, Setting and Theme - A Journey Through the Book!
A timeline with a twist - students explore a variety of aspects using keys, colours and a jolly good explore through the book.

3. Themes
Explores themes chapter by chapter. Can be used as a useful plot summary task sheet as well.

4. What Would You Do If? The Final Chapter
An application task which gets students to explore some of the issues and adversities of the final chapter.
