Who doesn't love Little Critter? This exciting author study will introduce students to Mercer Mayer's characteristic style for the books about loveable Little Critter. Students will experience making connections to a text, giving a summary, tallying characters using illustrations, writing a letter, writing about a special person in their life, and more!
I used this file for an above-level reading group of first grade students and they loved it!
I also introduced connections with these activities for my 3rd graders. They enjoyed the familiar character and the ease at making connections with these texts!
