Little Goblins Ten by Pamela Jane is a cute Halloween story with a repetitive structure and rhyming that makes for a fun story and a great yoga sequence. The yoga poses review the characters introduced in the story. You may choose to do the sequence as presented or add back in the full poetic sequence of the story. As always, the brain break ends with a calming activity, in this case, a breathing activity and a chance to rest for a few moments. Use this brain break during your ELA block or as a social skills actiivty to teach ways to calm and self-regulate the body and emotions.
