Jesus tells us that He is The Good Shepherd and we are His sheep. So many of us fail to embrace the character traits of the children of God. Perhaps if we were to begin at an early age, our lives would exemplify those characteristics of Christ that He identifies in His Word.
In “Little Lamb”, I have identified seven behaviors to work toward which would make us more like Jesus. In addition, I have focused on four gifts that we can receive from Jesus simply by asking and believing in His power. In order for change to occur in our lives, we must first ask Jesus to enter our hearts and be our Lord and Savior. After that, we must trust in Jesus to make the necessary transformation.
Alone, we are powerless. Our attempts will have no significance until Jesus performs His first act in our lives. That happens when we accept the cleansing that occurred on the cross when Jesus covered our sins with His redemptive blood. Now, because of His love and sacrifice, we have life through Him. All that we have is available to us because of Jesus. Little Lambs, may you know Him!
This teacher guide has been created as a resource for teaching the concepts introduced in the “Little Lamb” book. Feel free to reproduce the pages for classroom distribution or there is a children’s coloring book also available on amazon. May our goal be that many young lives are saved and changed through the power of the love of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
