The nursery rhyme "Little Miss Muffet" comes to life with two Readers' Theater scripts for kindergarten and early first grade. One script divides the nursery rhyme among two readers. The second script retells the poem in a unique way. These Readers' Theater scripts work great for shared reading or for a strategy or guided reading group focused on fluency.

The first script includes two parts (Narrator 1 and Narrator 2.) The second script has four parts (Narrator, Mommy, Miss Muffet, and Spider). Each part is color-coded on the script, making it easier for young readers to follow along and identify their parts. The font is clear and easy-to-read.

Also included are crowns for each of the characters (with a choice of a boy or girl for each narrator.) Alternately, there are small oval cards for each character that teachers may use instead.

All materials (scripts, crowns, character cards, and title labels) are included in both full color and in black-and-white.

Additionally, the Nursery Rhyme Readers' Theater series includes a copy of the rhyme for a poetry book and a simple sequencing page.
