Product Description
Here is a simple little play, approximately 10 minutes in length, with a Valentine theme! Robbie Rabbit learns that boasting doesn't pay, and Little Owl shows how to be kind and gracious when you don't win a contest for the best home made valentine. This play can be acted out or used as a Reader’s Theatre. Props and costumes are minimal. The story can be changed to omit the animal characters and just use people instead which would simplify the costumes.
The play can be used in your drama class and or/language arts/health, as it has a couple of underlying themes that can be useful in teaching social skills such as learning to be a gracious loser in a contest/game, being kind, remembering that rules to games or contests are necessary and it’s important to read them at the start!
