This lesson is designed in a PBL (Problem Based Learning) Format with an open-ended question.
Students are first given the following scenario to solve...
The snow storm in Atlanta has halted all the delivery trucks for your pizza store. For the next 3 days you will only have what ingredients you currently have in your store. You need to figure out how many pizzas you can make with the ingredients that are left, aiming for the most sales.
The document includes the lesson plan, rubric for grading, form for students to record their work/answers, and handouts with the other information students will need to solve.
**Note: Rubric is included but this activity was designed to be open ended. There are specific prices for the pizzas bu students may come up with a variety of combinations therefore no answer key is provided. It's important that students record clearly on the form provided for the easiest assessment.
