This file has a thematic story, animation, a bit of culture, sound effects, a paired activity, and of course THE BOOT shape, in a dynamic format that will hopefully catch the attention.of most. The puzzles at the end can be used as sub work or a quiz, additionally.
Also included in this zipped file is a blank worksheet of 6 empty shoe charts that have been easy for me to reproduce over the years. Don't forget to make double-sided copies so they can practice a bit more.
I don't believe that most students give a hoot about some of the things that we Spanish teachers can be so captivated by. "Look! If you make an outline around the exceptions, it becomes a mnemonic! It looks like A SHOE. Wow!" ZZZZZ As we all recognize most days, kids want to speak Spanish because there is something about its people that interests them, not because we make something easier for them to study or remember. I really try to do more to appeal to them, I think you'll find.
