Description

A TIMESAVING and EASY way to prepare your students to score well on the NEW YORK STATE LIVING ENVIRONMENT REGENTS EXAM. This is a complete 25-page TOPICAL review packet, including NYS Labs and answer key to help students (and teachers) prepare for the Living Environment Regents Exam with a focus on the key points that are often tested on the Regents Exam, and are core basic biological concepts.

This resource is organized topically, with one page each for the following topics, as well as one page for each of the NYS labs. Topics include: scientific inquiry, classification of living things, microscope, cells, macromolecules, enzymes, cell membrane, photosynthesis and respiration, nucleic acids, mitosis and meiosis, genes and heredity, modern genetics, evolution, human body systems, reproduction, homeostasis, ecology, human impact on the environment.

A full teacher answer key is included, so you may hand it out to students with the answer key, go over it in class, use each page separately, or use the packet as a whole. This resource is designed to have a limited amount of writing for students, but enough to keep them engaged and thinking as they label diagrams, fill in keywords or come up with examples.

I created this a few years ago for my students and have often been asked to share copies with colleagues and administrators, so I wanted to share it here with you as well.
