.This beginning science topic resource combines practice, movement, and fun.
Hang these picture cards in various spots in your classroom. Your students then read and write the room using one of the three differentiated response sheets.
There are 3 sets of 12 cards for plenty of practice categorizing things that are living and those that are nonliving. Each set is available in both color and black/white.
Also included are:
* answer sheets for each set
* 3 differentiated response sheets for each set (with picture cues, without pictures, or circle the word)
Picture word cards are common objects but be sure to preview them before using to see if there are any vocabulary words your particular students might not be familiar with.
The resource can also be used as task cards at a writing center.
You can also place them in sensory bin and have the students find them and record on the response sheets.
For individualized use with students on the autism spectrum or other developmental delays, set up the desired number of cards in a work box.
