LIVING & NONLIVING UNIT Everything can be classified as Living or Nonliving things.

Items both living and non-living can be classified by observable physical attributes.

Children generally have an idea of what is living and nonliving but they have a hard time articulating why. This mini-unit can help them get a grasp of what makes something living. Living things need food and air, they grow and reproduce.
