Laminate and cut out headers and picture cards. Have your students sort the items by their category – Living or Non-Living
With my class, we read the story Do You Know Which Ones Will Grow? By Susan A. Shea. I laid the headers on the carpet and gave each student one card. We took turns deciding if each students items were living or non-living. After our practice, I put the activity into our Science Center so the class could independently sort the items.
