PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Need to teach the new Social Studies curriculum for Living and Working in Ontario? Have your student make a booklet explaining the different environments across Ontario and the jobs that come with that area. My students worked in small groups to research on our class iPads.

This helps teach Social Studies expectation B1 (demonstrate an understanding of some key aspects of the interrelationship between the natural environment, land use, employment opportunities, and the development of municipal regions in Ontario).

This includes a page of fact research about Ontario and research pages about cities across Ontario (Toronto, Sudbury, Niagara Falls, Ottawa). There is also a blank page so the students can research an environment of their choice, as well as a reflection page to help them get thinking about some of the "big ideas" from this unit.
