This products is a lesson plan on living vs nonliving that can be adapted for grades multiple grade levels. This lesson aligns with New York State Standards and ACEI Science Standards. Along with this lesson is a student observation sheet that students use to determine which objects are living or nonliving. For my class I had the students work in groups. Each group was provided with the objects listed on the chart so they could further examine them and determine the characteristics of each.
