This can be completed as a webquest/worksheet OR as part of a class project in which students are asked to research one of the questions in greater detail. The questions ask students to look at different aspects of the ecosystem they live in, including: native animals and plants, invasive species, how their area looked before it was developed and weather patterns. This can be used as an intro to an ecology unit, or just to explore what kind of life exists in your area for Earth Day. Students are often surprised at all they have around them!
I have uploaded it a .docx format so it can be easily edited and differentiated for your classroom and students' needs. Enjoy!
