You know kids! They often think that they can answer comprehension questions based on what they already know. Do you remember thinking that? I do!
As they complete the worksheet, students have to locate the source
of the answer in the text, even if they think they already know the answer. Part of the activity involves writing the number of each question next to the place in the text where the answer is located.
Children are also asked to answer the questions in complete sentences
