This partner game, and task card questions based on the book "Franklin Has a Sleepover" works perfectly in Grades 1-3. Students are engaged with a partner during Literacy Block time, reading to someone and then taking turns picking a task card and searching for the supporting details from the story to verify their answers.
My students love it! Not only are they strengthening their cooperative learning skills, they are reading and writing in a fun, supportive environment.
There are 15 question cards based on the book and 4 writing activities. These activities work perfect during Read with Someone, Read to Self as well as Work on Writing.
