How to review withOUT drill and kill: Logic Line-Ups. I use this Logic Line-Up in my Science classes to review four types of Galaxies (Spiral, Bar Spiral, Elliptical, and Irregular)

They work in teams to figure out how to use the clues to line up their cards in the correct order. Build your students' deductive thinking skills, spatial reasoning, spatial vocabulary, and teamwork skills with these ready-to-use, logic activities. This product also includes a Line-Up activity to have team members make a human model of the Hubble Tuning Fork. They randomly select a 9 galaxy cards, and sequence themselves "correctly" to check comprehension of grouping galaxies.
These Logic Line-Ups have been classroom tested to help students with the following Florida Next Generation Sunshine State Standards in Science Benchmarks: Students Will Be Able To (SWBAT)
• SC.8.E.5.2 Recognize that the universe contains many billions of galaxies and that each galaxy contains many billions of stars.
• SC.8.E.5.3 Distinguish the hierarchical relationships between planets and other astronomical bodies relative to solar system, galaxy, and universe, including distance, size, and composition.
• SC.912.E.5.2 Identify patterns in the organization and distribution of matter in the universe and the forces that determine them.
