This is a LIVE Logic Puzzle. It is very challenging and will take some time for students to come up with a puzzle solving strategy that works. Students get a hat (template included) and a clue. The students work together as each person has only one clue to the puzzle, so they all must be involved in the problem solving process and eventually learn to not all talk at once. It is designed for 15 students ( thinking large class of 30 can be split in two and do it simultaneously) Can easily be modified for less, by making "ghost' artists or more, giving some students roles as director, photographer etc... The puzzle should take 20 - 30 minutes.
It is designed for high school students, or university level education students . Its also appropriate for a beginning level art history class. Some gifted and talented 8th graders could probably give it a go. This is a live, loud, and let's celebrate that we finished it kind of puzzle.
