If you are wondering what a logic puzzle is, it is a puzzle where you use clues, a grid, and some deductive reasoning to figure out who matches with what, or what items go together. It is a great way to exercise your students' brains!
Here is my blog post about the benefits of logic puzzles!
These would also be great early finisher work, early work, or even for a classroom center.
If you want an even harder challenge, try my free "triple matrix" logic puzzle here.
Included in this set:
♦ Instructions on Logic Puzzles
♦ Two half-page, 1 by 1 Logic Puzzles
♦ One full-page, 2 by 1 Logic Puzzle
♦ Keys for all three!
If you have no idea what a logic puzzle is, you can see some instructions here from a company that publishes logic puzzles. However, I do include instructions in my unit as well. This may give you a good idea of what I'm talking about:
I started doing these in 2nd grade, but the 2 by 1 grid may require a little guidance, or could be used in a group or by your higher level thinkers! For 5th, the half page ones may be a little more easy, but could be a great logic exercise for your lower level students!
I hope you enjoy this item. If you have any questions, concerns or ideas for custom work, please contact me! Thanks and stop by again soon!
