If you are looking for a fun way to challenge your students and sharpen their deductive reasoning skills, then logic puzzles are the way to go!
Please note that this particular logic puzzle set contains "triple matrix" puzzles, meaning the matrix has three sections going across and three sections going down. They will be matching up four different elements for their solution. For example matching the student, the book they read, the type of project, and the order they went in. It is more challenging than a single (matching just two elements) or double matrix (matching three elements), so . Once students get the hang of the Xs and Os and understand how it works, then you can move to larger puzzles!

*I did include 3rd grade in my description because I believe your puzzle-loving students will be able to graduate up to this level after trying the smaller ones.
If you are wondering what a logic puzzle is, it is a puzzle where you use clues, a grid, and some deductive reasoning to figure out who matches with what, or what items go together. It is a great way to exercise your students' brains!
This would also be great early finisher work, early work, or even a center!
This set includes:
♦ Instructions on how to complete logic puzzles
♦ Teacher note on using logic puzzles
♦ 5 triple matrix logic puzzles with different themes
♦ keys for the puzzles
* the logic puzzles are full-page in the PDF, but can be printed 2 to a page and still very clear and easy to read! I also print them in B&W to solve and edit, and they look great.
