This logic statements activity is for students in grades 8-12.
Students practice applying various types of logic statements including conditional, converse, inverse, contrapositive, biconditional, and laws of detachment and syllogism in the context of a story. Conditional statements are written in bold and students are prompted to fill in blank spaces using the indicated logic statement.
In addition students can write their own logic stories by inserting conditional, converse, inverse, contrapositive, biconditional, and laws of detachment and syllogism into the story. Students are also required to color code the conditional statements they include.
