There are a total of 288 cards included in this HUGE game set!!! There are 72 picture cards with matching word cards available in both COLOR and BLACK and WHITE.
Print, cut and laminate cards. (Don’t forget to color the paint splat with for the black/white “ue” BLUE card before you play the game).
Game Idea 1: Go Fish!
Shuffle the deck and pass out 7 cards to each player. Place the rest of the cards face-down in the center of the group. Players will have a mix of picture and words cards. Players take turns asking for a card. If the other player has the card, he/she will give the card to the player taking the turn. If the player doesn’t have the card, the player taking his/her turn can “Go Fish” for a card from the deck. Players continue playing until a player is out of cards. At that point the game is over. The player with the most matches at the end of the game wins!
Game Idea 2: Memory Match
Choose 8-20 word/picture pairs to play this game. Shuffle and place cards face-down in even rows. Players take turns turning 2 cards over. If the matching word and picture cards are chosen, the player keeps the cards. If not, both cards should be turned back over. The player with the most matches at the end of the game wins!
Game Idea 3: Memory/Bingo Mash-up!
You may choose to use some or all of the picture/word sets for this game. Keep the picture and word decks separate to set up this game. Begin by shuffling the word cards and placing them all facedown in even rows. Then shuffle and pass out all of the picture cards to players. Players should set up the picture cards in front of them face up (make it look similar to a BINGO board with even rows). Make sure players each have the same number of cards. Players take turns picking a word card and reading it. If that player has the matching picture card, he/she creates the match and places the set off to the side. If the player doesn’t have the matching picture card, he/she must place the word card back in the row face-down. Players continue taking turns until the first person makes all of their matches. The first player to match all of their picture cards with the word cards wins!
