Lonely Number One Activity contains the following games to help Pre-K to Kindergarten aged students sort, write, count, quantify, and use one-to-one correspondence.
Game 1: Build the number 1 out of playdoh. Children can use playdoh to shape the number. They can drive matchbox cars around the number. Children can use dry erase markers to trace the number.
Game 2: Build the number 1 out of pattern blocks. Pattern block templates are provided in the Lonely One Activity Pack.
Game 3: Sort the number 1 by color.
Game 4: Practice writing the number 1 with a dry erase marker.
Game 5: Number 1 puzzles. After laminating, cut along the black lines to make the puzzles and store in a ziplock bag.
Game 6: Number 1 Work Mats are a tool in which to visually represent the number 1 by its name, how it looks, ten frames, and concrete objects.
Game 7: Find and circle the number 1. Children use a dry erase marker and circle all of the number 1’s.
Game 8: Sort the number 1 by size.
