Description

Long Division Parent Study Guide is a math resource designed for parents so that they can help their children with homework and help them study for tests. I often find parents want to help their children with math but they are often uncertain where to start. My students' parents have told me they find my parent study guides to be useful as they provide a refresher on skills they have not practiced in a while and show them exactly how I am teaching to solve problems in class. This Long Division Parent Study Guide will teach parents:

  • important division terms
  • step-by-step instructions for how to solve a long division problem (written and visual examples used)
  • fun sayings to remember the long division steps
  • terms used in division word problems
  • helpful hints to making sure their children solve correctly

Space is provided for the teacher to write the long division test date so that parents are always aware of when a test is approaching.
