Thanks for checking out my Long Division Task Card Pack! Once students understand the concept and the steps, they need practice to master this important task. And… we all know that a worksheet of long division problems doesn’t excite anyone.
These task cards are designed to allow students to work on a couple problems at a time, check their own work, and get some much needed practice in the meantime.
There are two different kinds of problems represented with these task cards: problems written in words (34 divided by 2 – causes students to have to think which number goes inside the “box,” ) and the standard algorithm. Only half of the cards are multiple choice.
The last item included in this pack is a word problem sheet. It’s one thing to be able to do the problems, but students need to be able to use the knowledge to solve real world problems.
If you like this product, take a look at my Division Hop board game, which provides even more practice with long division, both in the standard algorithm form and in word problems!
Your purchase entitles you to use these cards and make copies for your own classroom. Please do not share with other teachers or upload them to a shared server. Refer interested colleagues to my TpT store or purchase an additional license for them.
