Practicing long division is more engaging when there's some coloring involved!
- This long division (with remainders) color by number includes both print and digital versions
Students love the self-checking aspect - if their answer isn't on the coloring sheet, they know their answer is incorrect.
- Students solve 20 division problems and then find the REMAINDERS on the coloring page and color with the colors indicated.
These long division problems require students to:
- Divide 3, 4, and 5-digit numbers by 2-digit and 3-diigt numbers. These problems all have remainders.
This easy-prep long division resource includes:
1) Two print versions
Version A:
- Problem sheet with 20 questions
- Coloring sheet
Version B:
- Problem sheet with same 20 questions as Version A
- Coloring sheet with snowman
2) Google Slides version
- Same problems and mostly same colors as print Version A (no snowman)
- Students type their answers in the answer box
- Students use the ‘Fill color’ bucket to color the shapes. Shapes have the REMAINDER numbers in them.
- Questions are not editable (they are in the background) but the shapes and numbers in the pattern ARE movable.
3) Two coloring pages with no numbers, so students can color the pattern their own way, for fun (one with snowman and one without):-)
