Long E Practice -- vowel teams ee, ea, ey
(includes multisyllabic words)
1. Students put the cards facedown into a deck.
2. The students take turns drawing one card at a time. If they read the word correctly they can move to the next corresponding vowel pattern (ee, ea, ey) on the board.
a. Alternative: read the word card to the student (don’t show them the card) and have he/she spell the word in the correct column on their recording sheet and then
move to the next corresponding vowel pattern (ee, ea, ey) on
3. Students can record some of their cards on the recording sheet.
