My ESL kids love games. This game "I have, who has" is concentrated on long -i- words (igh, ie, y, i_e (magic e)). There are 2 versions of the game: the first one is for beginners (the cards have pictures and words). The second version has only words without picture prompts.
The word list:
Games # 1 & # 2: y sounds like i, igh, ie
cry, die, cycle, flight, pie, sky, knight, tried, pylon, right, flies, shy, high, tie, dry, thigh, fried, magnify, light, potpie, python, night
Games # 3 & #4 i_e, ie, igh, y:
prize, buy, tight, lie, nine, fry, night, tied, lime, pylon, hive, flight, tie, time, magnify, height, potpie, kite, cycle, knight, fries, dime, sky, fight, flies, drive, white
