Product Description
Pick a Card Games are a fun way to practice and reinforce skills! All you need is the activity sheet and a deck of cards. The game is self-checking, so student groups can work independently.

*This game focuses on long multiplication and division (with and without remainders)

Directions:
Students can play this game with a partner or in a small group. Students need one activity sheet and a deck of cards. Place the deck of cards face down. One student holds the activity sheet while the partner turns over a card from the deck. The student holding the activity sheet reads the question that corresponds to the card. The answer is in parentheses on the card, so a separate answer key is not needed. If the student gets the answer correct, he or she keeps the card. If the question is missed, the card goes on the bottom of the deck. The winner is the student with the most cards at the end of the allotted time.

I use these games in math centers and for free choice time during the morning. I recommend printing the activity sheet on cardstock and laminating for durability.
