A long-term leave is difficult to plan for and takes a lot of time. This set includes editable templates for you to create a binder or file of information for a long-term substitute teacher. All pages can be edited. It includes a general cover page and cover pages for each different section, along with an example of my completed product that I used for two long-term leaves.
This zip file includes:
- An overview and explanation of the set (also in preview)
- Decorative cover pages
- Table of Contents
- Templates for entering important information
- A completed example using these templates to use as reference
Hopefully, once completed, your substitute will be able to refer to your notes when he/she has questions about meetings, curriculum, emergency procedures, daily routines, class lists, how to log lunch count and attendance. Everything will be organized and located in one place.
You must have Microsoft Word to edit these templates. That's what they were created in.
Once I had everything printed, I laminated the cover pages and put everything into a binder. It seemed to work well.
