This game is intended to review the sounds that vowels a and i make when they produce their letter name sound.
1 .The first player spins and moves his or her marker to the first picture on the game board that matches the vowel sound shown on the spinner. The player names the picture on the game board space. The player then must name another word with the same vowel sound in order to stay in the space. If the player cannot think of another word, he or she must return to his or her previous space.
2. Players take turns spinning and moving their marker to the first picture that matches the vowel sound on which they land.
3. The first player who can finish the course and move his or her marker to the big top wins!
All you need to supply, is a file folder, paper clip, a pencil, and mini binder clip. The binder clip attaches to the game markers on the bottom to make them stand up. To store this game, I would use a large mailing envelope.
