This is just a quick warm up or informal assessment that I used with my long vowel RTI group.
Students sorted the words into three categories long vowels (VCe), short vowels (CVC) and irregular long vowels (words that had the long vowel sound but did not have the VCe pattern).
Just print and cut, and everything is ready for your students.
