Long Vowel e Spelled ea Interactive PowerPoint

This is an interactive PowerPoint teaching or reviewing the long e sound spelled ea. It is perfect for first or second grade! You will need PowerPoint installed on your computer to use this product.

Interactive means that as the PowerPoint is played, students have their own printable to follow along with the teacher.
The first slides are an interactive book. Each slide has words, pictures and sound! As the teacher plays the PowerPoint she can also choose the sound option. Students will follow along with their own booklet tracing all the long e words spelled ea.

The next slides are a game called "Real or Nonsense?" Two words will be on the slide, there will also be a sound option to read the words. Students will decide which word is real or nonsense. Then on their paper, they will write the real word and illustrate it.

The next game is "Seek and Find!" Here, There will be several pictures on the slide. Students are to pick which pictures have a long e sound. All long e sound pictures are spelled ea. Students will then write that word in a sentence on their paper.

The last slide is a game called "Read and Act!" A picture and word will appear on the slide. Students read the word. Then, a sentence with that word will appear. Students then come up with actions to act out the sentence. They can share their actions with a partner and then the class.

Last, there is an exit ticket included. After the lesson, you can quickly assess what the students learned by having them trace all long e words spelled ea.
