Product Description
Bingo Long and Short Vowels Match Up Game K - 1

Use these cards to play Bingo, Lotto, or Simple Matching. Reinforce the short and long vowel sounds and rules while playing a game. This resource can be used with a whole class, small groups, centers, intervention, and take home practice bags.

There are 8 unique cards for each letter (a, e, i, o, u). Forty cards in all, with extra word tiles.

There are 12 words with pictures for each letter. (The words contain a variety of beginning and ending sounds, which serve as clues to students.)

Cake, rake, hat, cat, acorn, ant, fan, ham, train, rain, snail, apple

Web, vest, hen, well, tree, eggs, eagle, zebra, bed, nest, chess, key

Chick, pin, pig, tie, fish, kite, mice, dish, ice cream, igloo, wig, pie

Sock, box, boat, goat, rock, top, mop, gold, koala, clock, fox, bone

Mug, duck, nut, sub, truck, umbrella, unicorn, jug, bug, sun, rug, tub

The cards for each letter are provided, here, in separate files, so they may be printed and presented one letter at a time.

I suggest printing each (8 page) .pdf file on 110# card stock. I believe they print without adjustments, using any printer.

The cards can be placed in “5x7” envelopes to place at an activity table, or used as games for 2 to 8 players or a whole class. Make a master list based on the cards being used. Make up your own rules or let the students make their own rules. Even print an extra set to cut apart for turning upside down and playing concentration type games. ( I suggest sorting and storing the word tiles and picture cards by the vowel letters. )
