Lessons for Youngsters: Word Work Center: Long -e

This set has been created to help young students to recognize six vocabulary words (Long –e sound) and help to develop reading and writing skills by solving a variety of activities.

This set includes 27 pages:

Page 1: Students will cut and paste.
Page 2: Students will read and color.
Pages 3-8: Students will trace.
Pages 9- 14: Students will write.
Page 15: Students will draw.
Page 16: Students will read and match.
Pages 17-22: Students will unscramble, write, and color. (Every page features a word)
Pages 23-25: Students will rhyme the short –a sound words with other words with the same ending sound (word families)
Page 26: Students will trace and write in ABC order.
Page 27: Students will write the name, draw, and write a sentence.

Vocabulary Words: sheep, wheat, seed, wheel, feet, dream
