Longs and Cubes Bump is a 2-player game that allows students to practice identifying numerical representations for longs and cubes. Players take turns rolling three dice and finding the sum. Then, players search the game board and place one of their counters on the longs and cubes representation that matches the sum. But be careful, your opponent can "bump" you off and give you back your counter. The first player to play all of their counters wins the game. This activity meets or exceeds the Common Core Standards of Mathematics and makes for a fun class game or standards-based learning center for students needing practice to identify longs and cubes and the numerical representation.
