Fry phrases (fluency phrases) are so important in the lower grades. I always like to create games that center around these phrases so that the kids want to learn them. This listing includes both the colored version and the black and white version, which allows you to print on colored paper and save on ink! To play, students will turn the pencils that contain fluency phrases face down. Students will take take flipping the pencils over. When a match is found, that student will record it on their recording sheet. The person who fills their recording sheet up first wins. Also included in the packet is a label for you to create your own "I'm a Look Sharp Whiz" pencil jar in which the winner will pick a pencil from.
