Want a maths activity with a difference! This resource combines finding the bigger number and counting on practice with energetic exercise to provide an effective way to revise addition facts.
I hold up an addition fact card. My kindies look for the bigger number in the sum. e.g. 4+ 6 = ___ They say the bigger number ‘6’ as they tap their chest with one hand. Then they count on with their other hand ‘7 8 9 10’. I then hold up one of the exercise cards e.g. Jumping Jacks and they do 10 of those and put hands on their heads when they finish.
