Looking Back at a Great School Year – A Month to Month Scrapbook is a monthly “student evaluation” of their experience in the class. Students receive a scrapbook page for the month with a writing prompt relating to what they liked best in class or school about that particular month. They would then write a few sentences answering the question and draw a picture in the space provided above. Actual pictures can be put in the square as well. The teacher would then file those pages away. There are two cover versions where a student head photo would be affixed to the oval of one version and attached to the collection of scrapbook pages and bound in a clear folder, stapled, etc. The final version would provide parents a great end of the year gift where they could view their students writing improvement and thought process throughout the year. The pages have mostly black and white coloring to save on colored ink, though there is some. The color version would obviously look better, but the black and white version along with the graphics is quite clear if printed in black and white or grayscale.
