Looney Leaves are super cute leaves with personality! Written on each leaf is a sight word. This pack includes ALL the 220 Sight Words! These can be used as flashcards for your reading center or you could use them to play a game.
Here’s how to play:
Laminate and cut the leaf cards apart. Don’t worry about cutting exactly, just
go around the shape.
Download and put together the basket.
Have students read the word on the leaf. If s/he reads it correctly, s/he may add it to the basket. The more words read correctly, the more leaves collected in the basket.
Now for the fun part…
Once all the leaves have been read (or attempted), take them out of the
basket and throw them into the air. Let them rain down in the room. Have
the kids pick up and try again.
Remember, the more words you read correctly the more fall leaves will rain down!
